Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between omni wheels and mecanum wheels?
Omni wheels have rollers mounted perpendicularly around the wheel circumference. They allow the wheel to slide freely sideways, making them suitable as passive support wheels or in configurations where 360° sliding movement is needed (such as a three-wheel kiwi drive). Mecanum wheels have rollers mounted at a 45° angle. When four mecanum wheels are driven independently, their combined force vectors produce true holonomic movement — forward, lateral, diagonal, or rotation in place — without the vehicle chassis needing to turn. Mecanum wheels are therefore the preferred choice for AGV and AMR drive systems requiring precise positioning.
What load capacity do your omnidirectional wheels support?
Our omni wheel range supports up to 500 kg per single wheel. Mecanum wheel sets are available up to 4,500 kg per set (four wheels). Heavy-duty configurations use steel hubs with polyurethane rollers and precision sealed bearings. Contact our engineering team with your load and duty cycle requirements for a specific recommendation.
Can you produce omnidirectional wheels to custom dimensions?
Yes. We manufacture custom omnidirectional wheels and mecanum wheels to OEM drawings. Common customisation requests include non-standard diameters, custom bore and keyway configurations, specific PU hardness ratings, anti-static or food-grade roller materials, and custom hub materials. Please submit your drawing or technical requirements via our enquiry form.
What floor surfaces are omnidirectional wheels suitable for?
Both omni wheels and mecanum wheels perform best on hard, flat, smooth surfaces: epoxy-coated concrete, polished stone, ceramic tile, and steel plate. They are not suitable for outdoor use, loose gravel, significant inclines, or surfaces with debris. For operations involving minor floor irregularities, larger diameter wheels (150 mm+) offer improved obstacle handling.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Standard catalogue items can be ordered from as low as 1 set for sampling purposes. Custom and OEM orders have a minimum of 50 sets (varies by specification). Sample lead time is typically 48–72 hours for in-stock standard items.
Do you provide technical support for integration?
Yes. Our team can advise on wheel selection, hub and bearing specification, mounting configurations, and drive system compatibility. We also supply CAD drawings (STEP / DXF) for qualified enquiries.

Polyurethane High Temperature Wheels
High Temperature Wheels Manufacturer | Heat Resistant Wheels for Industrial Applications
Standard wheels often fail when exposed to elevated temperatures for extended periods. Excessive heat can cause tread deformation, material degradation, bearing failure, and reduced load capacity, leading to costly downtime and maintenance.
As a professional manufacturer of industrial wheels and rollers, we provide high temperature wheels engineered for applications where conventional polyurethane and rubber wheels cannot perform reliably. Our solutions are designed for industrial environments requiring continuous operation under elevated temperatures, high loads, and harsh working conditions.
Whether you require wheels for ovens, heat treatment systems, kiln cars, autoclaves, or other thermal processing equipment, we can provide standard and custom-engineered solutions tailored to your operating conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What temperature can high temperature wheels withstand?
The temperature capability depends on the wheel material. Our solutions range from approximately 150°C for high-temperature polyurethane to over 300°C for selected specialty materials.
Are polyurethane wheels suitable for high temperature environments?
Specially formulated high-temperature polyurethane wheels can perform well in many industrial applications where standard polyurethane would fail.
What is the best wheel material for temperatures above 200°C?
Phenolic resin or specially engineered high-temperature materials are often recommended, depending on load and operating conditions.
Can you manufacture custom high temperature wheels?
Yes. We provide custom wheel dimensions, materials, hardness levels, hub designs, and bearing configurations.
Do you support OEM production?
Yes. We work with equipment manufacturers, system integrators, and industrial distributors worldwide.
What wheel sizes are available?
We manufacture wheels ranging from 25 mm to 1500 mm in diameter.
